The young Link’s Awakening fan in me finds a lot to enjoy in Saga of the Moon Priestess.

If I didn’t know better I would believe Prison City is a classic 8-bit action-platformer, resurrected and polished for current audiences.

In nearly every way I can measure it, Sea of Stars is best in class.

Come at Boltgun looking to enjoy its graphics, its theming, or the Boltgun, and you will have a memorable experience.

Dimension Shellshock is a fun addition to a fantastic videogame if you can accept the grind.

Double Dragon Gaiden works simultaneously as a celebration of the series and as an entry point to beat ’em ups.

The best reason to play 80’s Overdrive is to see its adoring recreation of Out Run’s visual style in high-definition pixel art graphics.

Gato Roboto coasts on a charming premise and competently familiar design.

Cosmic Star Heroine is a great combination of old school aesthetic sensibilities and new school design philosophies.

Gun Crazy is structurally incoherent and a visual mess. I can’t recommend it at any price.
